Rio 2016 Judo Qualification System

The IJF have published the Olympic Qualification System for judo for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.

The Qualification period runs from 30 May 2014 - 29 May 2016. The 2016 Olympic participants will be based on the IJF World Ranking List dated 30 May 2016.

The system ensures that the worlds very best judoka will compete, and yet there will be over 120 nations represented in the Olympic Judo Event.
